Accidents can happen in any sport. For instance, kickball leagues have become popular at campuses across the country, While this seems like just fun and games, and it typically is, many participants have broken ankles while running or taken an errant ball off of their nose, leading to an unplanned doctor’s visit.

Similarly, more intense sports like basketball also present student an opportunity to not only stay in shape but also to get injured. From simple muscle sprains to torn knew ligaments, fast-moving and intense sports are unquestionably dangerous.

It is important to stay active and spend quality time with friends. Sports present a great way to do both of those things, but there are also inherent dangers involved in them.
